Hello and welcome to DISHFUL, a food/travel blog based on food adventures at home – Toronto – and abroad.
For as long as I can recall, eating well has been integrated into my lifestyle. My fondest childhood memories – still bringing a smile to my face – involve oversized lollipops and dessert. I feel most nostalgic, however, when recollecting family meals and engaging conversations that consistently trail back to the heart of the home, the kitchen.
From watching my mother cook to acquiring baking as a hobby, myself, I love ‘good’ food. To me, ‘good’ food refers to food that excites you or makes you happy; food so incredibly well-made that you don’t want to stop eating it; you want second helpings, despite feeling full, and only so you can continue delighting in the myriad of flavours. Simply stated, you want more and then some!
No matter the venue, city or continent I look forward to unmasking impressive cuisine and sights worth describing post-travel. I equally hope to reveal my hometown favourite “go-to” places for appetizing treats. After all, life is meant to be enjoyed to the fullest; it’s meant to be devoured using all your senses. Eating is one of life’s pleasures and, as such, why shouldn’t we enjoy the good life with ‘good’ food? Eat well! Be well!
I love your perspective and I would love to read more, so I have nominated you for the Liebster Award!
